Stock Valuation Tool
Mr. Stock Quickie's
Stock Valuation
tool does the tedious number crunching aspect of equity research for you and spits out an intrinsic, discounted cash flow, industry mapped, and market mapped value as well as providing key financial health data. You give it a ticker symbol and it scrapes the public domain for ten years of company history/data, and applies a proprietary valuation model to that data. After comprehensively processing the company in isolation (depth), it pulls down every equity in the particular stock's industry and in the S&P500 (breadth). Armed with those data, it maps the growth rate of your chosen equity into those broader contexts and derives a relative PE ratio for each. This allows you to see how your equity would be priced as an average stock in its industry and the market. All this analysis is displayed to you in a very easy to read, color coded, format along with a wealth of other important information that is geared to help you to determine if a particular stock represents a good value. Side note: Followers of Phil Town's Rule #1 will find this tool particularly useful as I have recently incorporated several of the metrics that he uses in my growth calculations!
